“Foreign Languages in Higher Education” has been published since 1995. It is included in the list of scientific periodical publications acceptable for publishing the main findings of doctorate dissertations and candidate theses established by the RA Supreme Certifying Commission. It is the successor of the periodical “Foreign Languages. Foreign Literature” (1981 – 1991).
Articles covering current trends in linguistics, literary criticism and methods of foreign language teaching are published in the journal. “Foreign Languages in Higher Education” is meant for specialists interested in General and Romance and Germanic philology as well as methods of teaching foreign languages.
The materials are published in Armenian, Russian and other foreign languages and are accompanied by Armenian, Russian and English summaries. Brief information about the authors is given.
